Strawberry Banana Brownie Skewers

Strawberry Banana Brownie Skewers
Servings: 8 skewers
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Chill Time (optional): 10 minutes
Total Time: ~25 minutes
Ingredients
1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
2 ripe bananas, thickly sliced (about ½ inch)
12–16 brownie chunks, cut into ~1-inch squares (homemade or store-bought)
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional for drizzle)
Wooden skewers (8-inch size works best)
Instructions
1. Prep Your Ingredients
Strawberries: Rinse, hull, and cut in half (leave them a little rustic looking for that natural touch).
Bananas: Slice thick and don’t worry about a few speckles—they add charm!
Brownies: Cut into small squares or chunks, aiming for a slightly crumbly, fudge-like texture with visible chocolate chips.
2. Assemble the Skewers
On each skewer, thread in a pattern: strawberry half → banana slice → brownie chunk, and repeat until full. Leave room at the bottom for holding.
3. (Optional) Drizzle with Chocolate
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second bursts until smooth. Drizzle lightly over the skewers using a spoon or zip-top bag with the corner snipped.
4. Presentation Vibes
Place finished skewers into a clear plastic takeout container for that casual, on-the-go feel.
Add a few crumbs from the brownies into the container for authenticity.
Serve on a wooden countertop with a cutting board and extra strawberries nearby for that homey kitchen atmosphere.
5. Serve Immediately or chill for 10 minutes if you added the chocolate drizzle and want it to set.
