Ingredients**
- 1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage (pork or turkey, mild or spicy)
- 1 (8 oz / 225 g) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 (8 oz / 226 g) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions**

- Return sausage to the pan and reduce heat to low.
2. Make the Filling
- Add cream cheese to the warm sausage.
- Stir continuously until the cream cheese melts and blends with the sausage.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cheddar cheese.
- Stir well until everything is creamy and evenly combined.

3. Prepare the Dough
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

- Open the crescent roll cans and separate the triangles.
4. Fill the Crescents
- Place 1–2 tablespoons of sausage filling onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Roll tightly from the wide end toward the tip, enclosing the filling.
- Tuck in the edges slightly to prevent leakage during baking.
5. Brush and Season
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.
- Brush each roll lightly with melted butter.
- Sprinkle with parsley or Italian seasoning for color and aroma.
6. Bake
- Bake for 13–17 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
