HOMEMADE IRISH CREAM

Introduction
This creamy liqueur is rich, velvety, smooth, and perfect for gifting. It tastes BETTER than store-bought Baileys, costs a fraction of the price, and you can make a big batch in under 10 minutes. This recipe fills 3 large swing-top bottles just like in your picture.
Ingredients
Base Cream Mixture
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 400 g)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee or espresso powder
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract (optional but amazing)
Alcohol
- 2 cups Irish whiskey (Jameson or any good smooth whiskey)
Optional Flavor Boosts
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
Step 1 – Mix the Flavors
In a blender, add:
heavy cream, condensed milk, whole milk, instant coffee, cocoa powder, vanilla, almond extract.
Blend for 10–15 seconds until smooth. Do not overblend (it can get too foamy).
Step 2 – Add Whiskey
Pour in the Irish whiskey.
Blend again for 5 seconds only. Just enough to mix.
Step 3 – Taste and Adjust
If you want it:
- Sweeter → add more condensed milk
- More chocolatey → add 1–2 tbsp cocoa or chocolate syrup
- Stronger → add more whiskey
Step 4 – Bottle It
Pour into clean glass bottles with lids (like your swing-top bottles).
Refrigerate immediately.
Step 5 – Chill
Let it chill for 8 hours to develop flavor.
Shake before each use.
Methods
- Use COLD cream so the mixture stays smooth.
- Do NOT overblend or the cream will thicken too much.
- Always store in glass bottles, not plastic.
- Keep refrigerated at all times.
History

- Customizable sweetness and strength
- Perfect for gifting
- Tastes better than commercial brands
Formation (How It Comes Together)
The cream provides richness, the condensed milk adds sweetness and body, the whiskey gives the classic kick, and the vanilla, chocolate, and coffee bring depth. Blending gently creates the silky, smooth liqueur you see in the bottles.
