Juicy Hamburger Steaks in a Savory Gravy Bake
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated onion
1 egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated onion, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the beef mixture into 4-6 oval patties and place them in a greased baking dish.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown the patties on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the patties and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
Gradually add the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 4-5 minutes.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
Pour the gravy over the browned patties in the baking dish.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and cover with foil.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the patties are fully cooked through.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
