Ingredients:
For the Muffins:
6 slices thick bread (like brioche or Texas toast), cut into 1-inch cubes

4 large eggs

1 cup milk

¼ cup heavy cream (or more milk)

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

For the Topping:
¼ cup melted butter

½ cup granulated sugar

1½ tsp ground cinnamon

👨‍🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat to 350°F (175°C).

Grease or line a 12-cup muffin tin.

2. Prepare Bread Mixture:
In a large bowl, whisk together:

Eggs

Milk

Cream

Sugar

Vanilla

Cinnamon

Salt

Add the cubed bread and toss gently to soak. Let sit for 5 minutes to absorb the custard.

3. Assemble Muffins:
Spoon soaked bread cubes evenly into muffin cups, pressing down slightly to pack.

Pour any leftover custard mixture over the tops.

4. Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden and set in the center.

Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then remove muffins.

5. Add Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
While muffins are still warm:

Brush tops with melted butter.

In a small bowl, mix sugar + cinnamon.

Roll or sprinkle each muffin with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

6. Serve:
Enjoy warm, optionally with a drizzle of maple syrup or a dusting of powdered sugar.
