🥞 Choco-Banana Crêpe Roll
🍫 Ingredients (serves 4):
For the crêpes:
125 g (1 cup) flour
2 eggs
30 g (2 tbsp) sugar
1 pinch of salt
300 ml (1¼ cups) milk
1 tbsp oil or melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
For the filling:
100 g (about ⅓ cup) chocolate spread (like Nutella)
2 ripe bananas
Icing sugar (optional, for decoration)
🥣 Instructions:
1. Make the crêpes
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
Add eggs one at a time, then gradually whisk in the milk to avoid lumps.
Add the oil or melted butter, and vanilla if using.
Let the batter rest for 30 minutes (optional but recommended).
Cook the crêpes in a lightly greased hot pan, about 1–2 minutes per side.
2. Assemble the roll
Take one large, thin crêpe.
Spread a generous layer of chocolate spread over the entire surface.
Slice a banana in half lengthwise (or into rounds) and place it along the edge of the crêpe.
Roll the crêpe tightly around the banana.
Slice into small rolls or cut diagonally for a pretty presentation.
3. Optional: Garnish
Dust with icing sugar.
Add chopped hazelnuts or chocolate shavings for extra texture.
🍽 Tips:
You can stack 2–3 crêpes to make a thicker roll.
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an indulgent dessert.
