Cheesy Chicken Garlic Pull-Apart Bake

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated biscuit dough (cut into quarters)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (or green onions)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Prep biscuits: Cut biscuits into quarters. Toss them in the garlic butter mixture until coated.
  4. Layer the bake:
  • Spread half of the buttered biscuit pieces in the baking dish.
  • Add half of the chicken cubes.
  • Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining biscuits, chicken, and cheese.
  1. Bake: Place uncovered in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  2. Finish & serve: Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Tips:

  • You can add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
  • For a creamy version, stir 1/2 cup ranch dressing or Alfredo sauce into the chicken before layering.
  • Serve with a fresh green salad for balance.
