German Chocolate Poke Cake

Ingredients:

1 box German chocolate cake mix (+ ingredients per the package)

1 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 cup caramel sauce

½ cup chocolate chips

½ cup shredded coconut

½ cup chopped pecans

½ cup chocolate frosting

½ cup caramel frosting

Optional Substitutions:

Omit pecans and add more coconut for nut-free.

Use coconut milk and dairy-free chocolate chips for dairy-free.

Instructions:

Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Prepare Cake: Mix and bake German chocolate cake per package instructions.

Poke Holes: After baking, poke holes all over the cake using a wooden spoon handle.

Layer Toppings: Pour sweetened condensed milk, then caramel sauce over the cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and pecans.

Drizzle Frosting: Heat chocolate and caramel frosting until pourable, then drizzle over the cake.

Rest: Let the cake sit for 30 minutes to absorb flavors.
