Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls
Ingredients:
For the Sausage Balls
1 pound spicy breakfast sausage (uncooked)
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 can (10 ounces) Rotel tomatoes and green chilies, drained
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
Directions:
Preparing the Sausage Balls
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the uncooked sausage, softened cream cheese, and drained Rotel tomatoes. Mix until well combined.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese and Bisquick baking mix to the sausage mixture. Stir until everything is evenly incorporated.
Using a spoon or cookie scoop, portion out the mixture and roll it into 1-inch balls. Place the sausage balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
Baking the Sausage Balls
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a serving platter.
