1 lb (450g) sirloin or flank steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and black pepper
2 tbsp cornstarch or flour (for a slight crisp)
2 tbsp vegetable oil (for searing)
For the Sauce:
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
For the Pasta:
250g (about 8 oz) rotini pasta
Salted water (for boiling)
1 tbsp butter (optional, for finishing)
Chopped scallions or sesame seeds (optional garnish)
