A rich, moist, and decadent chocolate cake that’s perfect for any celebration or simply to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Ingredients:
β€’ 80 ml milk
β€’ 60 ml vegetable oil
β€’ 70 g all-purpose flour
β€’ 10 g cocoa powder
β€’ 4 egg whites
β€’ 4 egg yolks
β€’ 70 g sugar
β€’ 1/3 teaspoon salt
β€’ 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
β€’ Chocolate chips (for topping)

Directions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.

Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, and egg yolks. Whisk until well blended.

Combine the Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Whip the Egg Whites: In a separate clean bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Add the lemon juice and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.

Fold in the Egg Whites: Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the chocolate batter, being careful not to deflate the mixture.

Add Chocolate Chips: Stir in a handful of chocolate chips for extra indulgence.

Bake the Cake: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve as is or with a dusting of powdered sugar or a scoop of ice cream.
